At last, a decent days weather! And what better way to spend it photographing everybody's favourite working. 'Just another Tug on tanks' was the 'gen' from RVM in the morning,
and it was surprising that so few ventured this way in the gorgeous light, certainly no need to battle down for position! It's also surprising to see what you can find just around the
corner from your drop off point, in my case Cam & Dursley station. Following ones nose can lead to some quite pleasent locations, getting away from those same old station shots
that some Tug hunters prefer! The always favoured '10:13' departure slot on a Saturday allows sun on the front on the Cam stretch, and here we see one of just FIVE operational
Class 60s no. 60009 passing 'Milepost 106' near Moorend just 31 mintues after departure working the 6E41 Westerleigh - Lindsey returning oils.
