The only train that I did have a rough timetable for was Amtrak's 'Southwest Chief' transcontinental passenger service, which runs daily between Los Angeles and Chicago and takes about 42 hours to complete its journey. No WTT though so it required a bit of maths to work out its rough passing time at Laguna and in the end I was almost spot on with the train passing at around 1030am. Sadly because I wasn't exactly sure on its passing time I played it safe and moved to a location that would be on for some time, but it passed earlier than I was hoping in some rather unpleasant head-on light. All the same it is a recording of the scene, and we see Amtrak GE P42DC nos. 150 & 144 lead The Southwest Chief Train no.4 eastbound at Laguna, next stop in around an hour is Albuquerque.
