On return from holiday in Cornwall a brief stop in the Exeter area was enjoyed, and despite the changeable weather it seemed rude not to hang on for the clay. 66009 nears journey's end as it approaches Cockwood Harbour working 6C53 Par Docks - Exeter Riverside yard. Devon now enjoys three afternoon workings a week ex-Cornwall now that the clay runs on both Wednesday and Thursdays, with the fuel empties/clay/scrap/whatever else they can find at Blazey running on the Friday. Interestingly this working is timetabled from Parkandillack on both days, but Thursdays it starts from Par Docks and runs nowhere near Parkandillack! I was very lucky with the sun here and only picked the location at the last second as it seemed most likely to find the hole in the cloud, which is just about did!
